Relay App Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
Relay is a private social media publishing tool operated by Naeema Tabassum for the online store Digital Studio By Naeema (https://digitalstudionaeema.com). It is used by our own team to prepare, approve and publish posts about our products. Contact: aimbynaeema@gmail.com
2. Information we collect
- Team account details: name, email address, role, and a securely hashed password.
- Connected social accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube): access tokens provided through each platform's official authorization (OAuth), the connected account name, where the platform provides it, and the boards or pages chosen for publishing. We never ask for or store your social media passwords.
- Content: captions, product images, images you upload, generated images and videos, and the IDs and links of posts and videos we publish.
- Activity records: an audit log of actions in the app (who created, approved, published or changed something, and when).
- Cookies: the app uses two cookies of its own. One keeps a team member signed in; the other protects forms against cross-site requests. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and no third party places cookies through the app.
3. How we use information
Only to create, review, approve, schedule and publish content for our own business accounts, and to show the status of that content. Nothing is posted without approval by an authorized team member.
4. Pinterest data
When you connect Pinterest, we request only the permissions needed to list and create boards, create Pins, and show the connected account name. Pinterest requires Pin read access in order to create Pins; we use it only for Pins we create. We use this only to publish Pins you approve to the board you choose. We do not read, collect or analyze other users' Pins or personal data.
5. YouTube data
Relay uses YouTube API Services. When you connect a YouTube channel, we request only permission to upload videos (youtube.upload). We use it only to upload videos you have approved to your own channel. Every upload is private, and you choose in YouTube Studio whether to make it public. We do not read your channel's other videos, comments, subscribers or analytics. YouTube video IDs and links are removed from our records 30 days after upload. By connecting YouTube you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms). Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy (http://www.google.com/policies/privacy). You can revoke Relay's access at any time on the Google security settings page (https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions).
6. Sharing
We do not sell or rent any information. Content is sent to Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest or YouTube only when a post is published. We use these service providers to run the app: Railway (hosting), Supabase (database and file storage), Groq (AI text for captions) and Hugging Face (AI images, only when that option is used). They process data only to provide their service to us. Relay does not show advertisements or allow third parties to serve content in it.
7. Storage and security
Data is stored on secure servers and sent over HTTPS. Social media tokens are encrypted before they are stored. Access to the app requires a team account, and actions are limited by role.
8. Retention and deletion
Tokens are deleted as soon as an account is disconnected in the app. You can also remove the app's access at any time in your Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram or Google account settings (for YouTube, at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions). Media files may be removed after posts are published. Team members can ask for their account data to be deleted by emailing aimbynaeema@gmail.com.
9. Children
This app is for business use by adults only and is not intended for anyone under 18.
